Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and President Hassan Rouhani expressed satisfaction on the positive trajectory of bilateral ties between Pakistan and Iran.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Thursday accused Israel of afflicting the Palestinians with a "web of apartheid policies and atrocities" and accused "Zionist pressure groups" of manipulating the American government into violating the nuclear deal with Tehran.

Iran says it is ready to work with Iran on devising a 10-year roadmap to expand economic relations between the two countries. "Any failure in implementing the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) will further erode the credibility of the United States in the world", he charged, accusing the US of failing to comply with the deal in the past few months, and citing "the US Supreme Court ruling to seize billions of dollars of the Iranian people's assets". "We consider Pakistan's economic development as our development", the president was quoted as saying.

Rouhani said Iran can install a power plant on border with Pakistan to supply electricity.

The two leaders had last met during President Rouhani's visit to Islamabad this year.

Describing Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) as the symbol of dialogue and cooperation in worldwide stage instead of disagreements, President Rouhani told UN Secretary-General that preserving and bolstering JCPOA is all parties' duty, as well as the United Nations'.

The Iranian president also held bilateral negotiations with Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven and Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev on Wednesday.
