A newly-revealed memo from a former aide to Bill Clinton details substantial overlap between donors to the non-profit Clinton Foundation and the former president's personal financial activities, a $30 million-plus enterprise described in the memo as "Bill Clinton, Inc".
Donald Trump is seizing on revelations in hacked emails that show the overlapping relationships between the Clinton Foundation and the family's private enrichment.
The 2011 memo, marked "Attorney-Client Privilege" was sent by Doug Band to two attorneys who were doing a review of the way the Foundation was being run; it was included in the cache of stolen emails released by WikiLeaks this week.
In a January 2016 email to senior Hillary Clinton advisers, longtime Democratic staffer Ron Klain outlined a series of political questions the campaign would need to prepare for, including questions about why Hillary was struggling in the polls, as well as "WJC Issues".
Band said his firm, Teneo, secured "more than $50 million in for-profit activity" for what he called "Bill Clinton Inc". But neither he nor the Clinton campaign has challenged their authenticity.
"As the memo demonstrates, Teneo worked to encourage clients, where appropriate, to support the Clinton Foundation because of the good work that it does around the world", the statement said. But he asked Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta how to handle the Bill Clinton topic.
In a separate email from Chelsea Clinton that month, she wrote, "My father was told today of explicit examples at CGI of Doug/ Teneo pushing for - and receiving - free memberships - and of multiple examples of Teneo "hustling" business at CGI - and of people now having quit at CGI".

However, additional studies with a wider participant base are required for the therapy to be approved by authorities. Most of the participants followed the treatment regimen as directed, and no serious adverse events were reported.
He said he had received no fees or percentages of "the more than $50 million in for-profit activity we have personally helped to secure for President Clinton to date or the $66 dollars in future contracts, should he choose to continue with those engagements". It said in a statement, "The Clintons are extremely proud of the work of the foundation that has helped millions of people around the world".
Teneo client Barclays Capital contributed $1.1 million to the foundation between 2008 and 2011, Band wrote. It also discussed how Band urged UBS to hire Hillary Clinton to give paid speeches.
"In support of the President's for-profit activity, we also have solicited and obtained, as appropriate, in-kind services for the President and his family - for personal travel, hospitality, vacation and the like", Band wrote.
"Well, I would say that everybody should be believed at first until they are disbelieved based on evidence", Hillary Clinton said in response to the question.
Those are the names of some of the women who have accused Bill Clinton of sexual assault and rape - accusations that have resurfaced during Hillary Clinton's presidential run.
"Mr. Band called the arrangement 'unorthodox.' The rest of us call it outright corruption".
