Well, to no one's surprise, all that free publicity helped the 35-year-old's brand far more than hurt it - as sales for Ivanka Trump products have SKYROCKETED in recent weeks.
According to Slice Intelligence, online sales of Ivanka Trump merchandise swelled 207 percent in February from the prior month.
Lyst, a British e-commerce website that sells thousands of different brands, said sales of Ivanka Trump products increased 346 percent between January and February, while sales of the brand are up 557 percent over a year ago.
While Trump supporters have called for a Nordstrom boycott, anti-Trump advocates - including at least a dozen celebrities - have flocked to Nordstrom to praise the company's decision to drop the Ivanka Trump brand. Initially, the Trump brand was at the 550th rank, but now the brand has witnessed a leap of 346 percent when compared to the previous month.
An insider from Amazon told TooFab, "the buying team usually purchases the entire line and sees what sells the most, but can not provide numbers to outside sources".
Abigail Klem, who took over as president of the brand after President Donald Trump's daughter stepped down in January, said the company has seen near-unprecedented success since last month.

Currently, the fashion line of Ivanka Trump can be seen in almost 80 stores or more in the United States and the company wishes to expand their business to another 200 stores more. Purchases from her line were also up 148 percent at Macy's and nearly a third at Bloomingdale's.
The Ivanka Trump brand had been making headlines for quite some time now.
Another potential driver, Tanner added, was the President's tweet last month about Ivanka having been "treated so unfairly" by Nordstrom.
