Knicks guard Derrick Rose will miss the last few games of the season after tearing the meniscus in his left knee.
Rose missed the Knicks' last two games in what was originally described as knee soreness.
Rose previously tore his meniscus in 2013.
The 28-year-old Rose's latest injury setback will require arthroscopic surgery and will be his fourth surgery to either knee - he tore his left ACL in 2012 and underwent two surgeries on his right meniscus. He said on Wednesday that he initially felt the discomfort in his knee before the Knicks' win over the Pistons on Monday, in which he played 33 minutes and scored 27 points. Now, it has developed into yet another major injury to add on to an extensive list of health issues that derailed his promising career.

You would figure this would spell the end of Rose's time in NY, considering the fact that he walked away from the team at one point this year without informing them.
He has had multiple knee problems since his 2010-11 MVP season with the Chicago Bulls. In his first season with the Knicks, Rose averaged 18 points per game and 4.4 assists per game. The Knicks sent the Bulls center Robin Lopez and guard Jerian Grant in the deal.
The injury, which has an estimated recovery time of six to eight weeks, comes at a critical time for Rose, who will be a free agent in June.
