The girl was unable to speak or behave like normal humans but seemed comfortable with the apes.
Since treatment began two months ago, her condition has improved, according to the DailyMail.
The girl is not the first documented case of a child living with monkeys. After being spotted by locals in the Motipur range of the sanctuary, a police team managed to rescue her in January, but not before overcoming stiff resistance from the monkeys. "She was wearing clothes but not very dirty", Inspector Ram Avtar told Cover Asia Press, adding that the girl appeared to be abandoned by her family. Even the girl also resisted the cops and screeched at them.
The cops managed to pick up the girl and put her into the auto and brought her to the primary health centre.
According to a Times Of India report, she can not talk like a human being. Because of this and her time with the monkeys, she can get violent when people try to approach and help her. She has become familiar with a doctor and some nurses.
