North Korea in 'CIA Biochemical ATTACK plot' as elite unit created

The Chinese Navy conducted the test in the busy northeastern Bohai Sea close to the Korean peninsula "in recent days", Chinese Xinhua news agency reported, citing a statement from China's Defense Ministry.

Separately, the CIA said on Wednesday it had established a Korea Mission Center to "harness the full resources, capabilities and authorities of the Agency in addressing the nuclear and ballistic missile threat posed by North Korea".

All the veteran and experienced selected for North Korean Mission Center will bring their expertise to deal against the Pyongyang's threats.

The agency has failed to specify where the center will be located, but the statement noted that a "veteran CIA operations officer" was selected to act as head of the center and as an Assistant Director for Korea.

The North's state media has been running stories about the plot since last week.

South Korea's new president Moon Jae-in has vowed to review the decision to deploy the US' Terminal High Altitude Area Defense system (THAAD), which was installed just weeks before his Tuesday's election victory.

"North Korea disrespected the wishes of China & its highly respected President when it launched, though unsuccessfully, a missile today".
