The White House says Pence will travel from August 13 to August 17.
Vice President Mike Pence has hired outside legal counsel to help him navigate the investigations into possible ties between President Donald Trump's campaign and Russian Federation, according a new report. He also served as special counsel to Virginia Sen. Paul Trible, R-Va., during the Iran-Contra investigation, worked for former Rep. Caldwell Butler, R-Va., during the Watergate investigation, was lead counsel to former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay during the investigation into his ties with lobbyist Jack Abramoff and was on President George W. Bush's legal team during the Florida recount in the 2000 presidential election.
Cullen served as a US attorney under President George H.W. Bush and is now the chairman of the McGuireWoods LLP law firm in Richmond, Virginia, according to ABC News.
