"My Condolences goes out to the family [of] Chris Wong Won Fresh Kid Ice of the 2 Live Crew, who passed away this morning".
Fresh Kid Ice formed the group with Mr. Mixx and Amazing Vee, and he was the only member to be featured on every album. The MC and artist born Christopher Wong Won was 53 years old at the time of his death. He added, "We lost a legend". The three were later joined by Luther Campbell in 1990.
Fellow 2 Live Crew member Uncle Luke tweeted about Fresh Kids Ice's death shortly after the rapper's manager told TMZ of his death. The Supreme Court eventually sided with Campbell and 2 Live Crew in 1992.

Israeli ex-premier freed from jail after parole in graft case
A parole board last week made a decision to rule against objections from the prosecution, which objected to his early release. He was convicted in 2014 on charges of accepting bribes to promote a property project in Jerusalem and obstructing justice.
2 Live Crew faced boycotts and obscenity charges after the release of their 1989 album "As Nasty As They Wanna Be" which was the first to be labeled legally obscene by the government. "But when the videos came out, it basically crossed the group over". Fresh Kid Ice later released solo album, The Chinaman, on Effect Records, the record widely acclaimed for being the first Hip-Hop album embracing having an Asian heritage. Other people could be like, 'Damn, that could be me. Despite the shifts, Fresh Kid Ice remained with the outfit until they officially split after 1998's The Real One. "I didn't know an Asian dude was rapping like that!'"
Fresh Kid Ice was the only member to appear on every 2 Live Crew album. In 2004, he released Freaky Chinese, which notably featured several appearances from a pre-fame Flo Rida.
In 2012, he, Uncle Luke and Brother Marquis had a 2 Live Crew reunion.
