According to AFTV News, Amazon has begun surveying customers about the new messaging service to gauge which features are most important them. The app's marketing material claims that users can 'encrypt important messages (like bank account details)'.

Another inherent positive with Anytime is that you only need your friend's name to get started as the system isn't dependent on their phone numbers. It hence appears to be an all-in-one feature rich service that has potential to rival even big social networks.

There is no word either as to when things are slated to enter a more definitive stage with Anytime so that we can predict a more probable launch window. According to AFTVnews report, Amazon is working on an instant messaging app of their own.

The username will be the core element of the Amazon Anytime app as it will allow individuals to connect to each other. This is somewhat of a higher level of security in the forthcoming Anytime app.

Amazon messaging app Anytime will work for both Android and iOS platform. Some of the most popular cross-platform messaging apps are from Facebook, Google, and Apple.

If Amazon does launch a messaging app, it would be the first time the company delves properly into the social messaging space.

Amazon didn't forget about the main issue of privacy, so it promises that all chats and activities will remain private.

Amazon must also convince customers that its messaging app will be far better than WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger; otherwise, its fate will be like numerous other apps with small user bases.

Well, it seems pretty good that Amazon is expanding its business reach to software side also.
