On Sunday, President Donald Trump released a video on Facebook featuring McEnany delivering "Real News".
As a CNN contributor, McEnany was one of the most vocal Trump supporters at the network, which the president has repeatedly referred to as "fake news". She's a Harvard Law graduate who frequently defended Trump in her appearances on CNN during the 2016 election, including a particularly heated exchange with Charles Blow of the New York Times. She left the network this weekend, a source with knowledge of the situation told NBC News, asking to leave in order to pursue another opportunity. The latest news is that McEnany will join the Republican National Committee as their new national spokeswoman.
Then on Sunday she appeared in a video posted on Trump's Facebook page.
She signed off her first video by saying, "Thank you for joining us everybody". The first video was hosted by the president's daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, who is married to Eric Trump. "Feels eerily like so many state-owned channels I've watched in other countries", he tweeted after watching the McEnany video.
"On Wednesday, the president introduced the RAISE act", she continued.

My hunch is that it's a byproduct of Trump's complaints about "fake news".
A background behind her says DonaldTrump.com and Trump Pence. "Trump is truly a post-partisan president". Instead, we learned that Donald Trump is personally responsible for last Friday's jobs report beating expectations; the president will increase wages for low-income Americans by keeping out legal immigrants; and the White House is finally doing right by our veterans.
"Wow. Feels eerily like so many state-owned channels I've watched in other countries", Michael McFaul, who served as the USA ambassador to Russian Federation under President Barack Obama, wrote on Twitter.
Some have criticized the videos as political propaganda. The Trump clip is styled as a substitute news broadcast, though.
