Fox Sports Radio host and natural provocateur Clay Travis on CNN today made a decision to be facetious by using the word "boobs" multiple times, causing former Atlantan and afternoon host Brooke Baldwin to cut him off.
What this has to do with the female anatomy is anyone's guess, but Travis felt the need to say, "I'm a First Amendment absolutist, I believe in only two things completely, the First Amendment and boobs".
"I'm astonished at nearly everything I just heard", he said, noting sports journalism grapples with blatant sexism on a regular basis.
She describes growing angry as the newsroom went silent and her producers frantically spoke through her earpiece, trying to confirm what Travis just said.

That left England with a meagre target of 107, and the hosts finished on 107 for one off 28 overs, to take the three-match series 2-1.
"Hold on", she interrupted him, "I just want to make sure I heard you correctly as a woman acnhoring this show". "What did he just say?" Baldwin asked. "You believe in the first amendment and b-double-o-b-s?" "The First Amendment, and boobs", Mr Travis said, before nonchalantly carrying on with his argument. "Maybe he should learn from folks over at Fox News - being demeaning to women does have consequences", she wrote.
A CNN anchor cut off a guest midway through a segment after he declared on-air the only two things he believed in were "the First Amendment and boobs".
Baldwin still wasn't quite believing her ears. I told the control room to kill his mic and said "BYE". "I'm done", Baldwin said. Let's face it, with National Football League attendance and TV ratings sagging, I predict we'll see a lot more air time for National Football League cheerleaders this fall.
"I even caught my cameraman Jay's eyes in disbelief". Is this seriously happening?' "Speaking to women like this is unacceptable", Baldwin added. "It is 2017. Why is this even happening?"
After this most recent wreck in the intersection of politics and athletics, maybe Travis should take his own advice and stick to sports - or at least spend less time ranting about "MSESPN" and more time making sure his kids don't get lice. After hearing him brag with a smirk on his face, she did what every viewer had wished at that minute.
