O.J. Simpson watches his former defense attorney Yale Galanter testify during an evidentiary hearing in Clark County District Court on May 17, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bondi told "Fox and Friends" that she might have no legal way to keep Simpson out.
Simpson was offered the chance to make a statement and he chose to apologize.
"There was a lot of concern about something happening".
"I renewed the judgment in 2015 at $57 million", he said, per CNN. "If we have to accept him, I certainly want conditions placed on him". He was neither heard from nor seen publicly, except when a television news crew found him in a vehicle at a gas station on the way to Las Vegas and he declined to be interviewed.
O.J. Simpson was released from the Nevada prison at 12 A.M. Sunday.
Keast said there were no media present at the time he left.
"We needed to do this to ensure public safety and to avoid any possible incident", Keast said. She added that she had no information on Simpson's intended destination.

"Here's what I can tell you: Mr. Simpson is going to live in Florida", Simpson's lawyer Malcolm LaVergne told Inside Edition.
"He wants to see his family and hug his family on the outside of prison", LaVergne said.
On the afternoon of July 20, OJ Simpson sat at a hearing at the Lovelock Correctional Center in Lovelock, Nev., in which the fate of his parole was determined. Arruti declined for what he said were security and privacy reasons to disclose the exact location of the house.
Some in Naples said Simpson would be welcome to the community. He also had a debit card.
Simpson served nine years in prison, out of a 33-year term, for leading a group of men into a Las Vegas hotel and casino to steal sports memorabilia at gunpoint that he said had been stolen from him.
Before his arrest he was filmed live on television being pursued by police on a Californian freeway.
Simpson was acquitted of the 1994 killings of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman.
Simpson didn't help quash the speculation, authoring a controversial book in 2007 called "If I Did It". The families of the victims were awarded $33.5 million after a civil suit was filed when Simpson was found not guilty. He was granted parole in July by four members of the Nevada Board of Prisons with an effective date of "on or after October 1".
