The tweet says that "the ministry of defence shows irrefutable evidence that U.S. are actually covering ISIS combat units to recover their combat capabilities, redeploy, and use them to promote American Interests in the Middle East". Here are the best war games on PC.

Russia's Ministry of Defence has posted what it called "irrefutable proof" of the USA aiding so-called Islamic State - but one of the images was actually taken from a video game.

Russia's defense ministry on Tuesday posted images it said proved the USA was aiding the Islamic State jihadist group in the Middle East, but social media users pointed out they included a still from a videogame.

The game in question is none other than AC-130 Gunship Simulator for Android and iOS. To make things worse for Russia's Ministry of Defense, they didn't completely crop out the "development footage" disclaimer.

Soon after people noted the dubious origin of the photographs, the defence ministry deleted its tweets, and removed the photographs from the corresponding Facebook posts. In the top-right corner, you can see the beginnings of the statement from the video that claims the footage shown was work-in-progress gameplay and that all of the content shown is subject to change.

Newcastle fans annihilate Benitez for decision in loss v Bournemouth
Newcastle United manager Rafael Benitez admits that his side's stoppage-time defeat at home to struggling Bournemouth is hard to take.

It repeated the claim it was "irrefutable evidence that USA are actually covering Isis [IS] combat units to recover their combat capabilities, redeploy, and use them to promote the American interests in the Middle East". It later reposted the same statement with different images.

The original is consistent with a June 2016 Iraqi military video, which shows coalition airstrikes and Iraqi military forces attacking an ISIS convoy fleeing Falluja.

"The United States' refusal to carry out strikes against ISIL terrorist convoys retreating from [Al-Bukamal] is a fact recorded in the transcripts of the talks and, therefore, well known to the American side, just as the active counteraction by US aircraft to the Russian Aerospace Forces, which were ready to destroy ISIL terrorists who were regrouping for new attacks against government troops near [Al-Bukamal]", the ministry added, using an alternative acronym for ISIS.

Responding to Russia's allegations in remarks carried by Reuters, a spokesman for the US-led coalition Col Ryan Dillon said the Russian allegations were "about as accurate as their air campaign".
