An older brother of the New Jersey teen who allegedly gunned down his parents and sister on New Year's Eve penned a touching tribute to his slain family members on social media, urging others "to give the ones you love an extra kiss or I love you".
The shots rang out just before midnight Sunday.
He will be charged with four counts of murder and possession of a weapon for an unlawful objective, reported NBC Channel 4.
One minute later, according to the prosecutor's office, the Long Branch police and Monmouth County Sheriff's Office arrived on scene to discover the four victims, shot dead. They say the 911 call came from someone inside the home who was spared by the suspect and that the teenager's grandfather may have witnessed the murders. He said the arrest was "uneventful" and didn't require the use of force.

A motive for the shooting is not known.
