Although the Cardinals are committing a huge amount of money, Bradford's injury history and a short-term deal should signal that the team may look to add another quarterback through free agency or the upcoming draft. After five seasons plagued with knee injuries and a losing record of 18-30-1, Bradford was shipped to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Former Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford will sign with the Arizona Cardinals when free agency opens Wednesday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Sam Bradford appears set to land on his feet during this dizzying period of National Football League free agency. And now Bradford gets another $20 million this year with the Cardinals. He's completed 63 percent of his passes for his career, 72 percent the past two seasons in Minnesota.

Bradford played in just two games for the Minnesota Vikings a year ago as he battled a knee injury, and he spent some time on injured reserve. Keenum has reportedly agreed to a deal with the Denver Broncos. The former first-overall pick has already surpassed $114 million in career earnings, including $25 million from the Vikings, before his new deal with the Cardinals, according to OverTheCap.com. The Vikings decided they wanted to go in a different direction at the quarterback position, and by that, I mean that Minnesota wanted in on the Kirk Cousins sweepstakes action. However, he might also have the lowest floor, as injuries have routinely prevented him from staying on the field in his first seven seasons, when he's missed a combined 33 regular-season games.

After all the expected signings are done, the Vikings should have two quarterbacks on the roster in Cousins and Kyle Sloter, who didn't get into a game last season as a rookie.
