Actor Jim Carrey Blasted Over Painting that Resembles Huckabee Sanders

A spokeswoman for Carrey has confirmed that the painting thought to be Sanders is his, but would not confirm that the portrait is of the White House Press Secretary.

Carrey tweeted alongside the painting, "This is the portrait of a so-called Christian whose only goal in life is to lie for the wicked".

Jim Carrey paintings usually create a buzz online because they are filled with striking detail, but his recent painting of Sarah Huckabee Sanders is quickly going viral.

Sadly, this is not the first time that Sanders has been the target of nasty personal attacks on her looks and character.

It started out on Fox & Friends, where co-host Ainsley Earhardt was more appalled by the "so-called Christian" aspect of Carrey's criticism than the painting itself.

A painting by comedian Jim Carrey that was posted to Twitter in March 2018. At least one took things a step further and taunted him about his girlfriend, who committed suicide.

Many Twitter users, however, thought it shared her likeness and immediately clapped back at "The Truman Show" star.

On Sunday, he tweeted out a caricature of White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, along with a message calling out the chasm between her actions and her proclaimed religious beliefs. The painting had over 70,000 likes and over 16,000 retweets at the time of publication.

Over the past year, he has used his paintbrushes to speak out about how unhappy he is with the Donald Trump presidency. In his new "The Wicked Witch of the West Wing and Putin's Flying Monkeys", Carrey amalgamates Trump (who he's referred to as "Chief Little Hands" in other works) and The Wizard of Oz's Wicked Witch of the West into a new, chilling figure. "Apparently $3.3 million is the price of this politician's soul".
