Three women filed a sexual harassment lawsuit on Friday against former CBS News television anchor Charlie Rose, accusing the prominent journalist of touching them inappropriately and making offensive comments. The plaintiffs - Katherine Brooks Harris, Sydney McNeal and Yuqing "Chelsea" Wei - were all junior employees in their 20s when the acts occurred, the lawsuit says.

There are also other women who say they were sexually harassed by Mr.

Rose was ousted from CBS past year after allegations of harassment emerged.

"Ms. Wei also told Mr. Kadro words to the effect of, 'I'm telling you in case you have a lawsuit on your hands, '" the suit alleges.

The suit alleges that Rose would also berate the three young staffers, calling them "idiots", and questioning their abilities.

Ms. Harris, who worked at CBS before going to work for Mr. He is also supposed to have made sexual remarks on various occasions. The complaint also accused the network of demoting Wei in retaliation for her complaint against Rose.

After Rose was sacked, the lawsuit alleges that Wei filed a complaint against Kadro with CBS' director of human resources, Maria Cottone. All of the women say he would repeatedly caress and touch their bodies, including their arms, shoulders, waists and backs.

Rose was sacked in November of 2017 after the Post published a lengthy investigation into allegations of sexual harassment against him.

Rose later allegedly told Harris he hired her because he liked "tall women", kissed her on the cheek, placed his hands on her thighs, and demanded she come to his apartment late at night.

The retaliation component of the lawsuit stems from Wei's account that she was removed from her position as an anchor assistant several months after she filed a complaint with CBS human resources on November 30, just days after Rose was sacked.

CBS News said it could not confirm or corroborate numerous stories told by The Post. The woman said she complained to PBS management and was told that Rose was harmless.

CBS never responded to the complaint, according to the lawsuit, which states the network "subsequently questioned the accuracy of her timesheets and told her that she would be replaced as an anchor assistant and would not be able to apply to work for the show's new co-anchor, John Dickerson".

Wei has since taken medical leave from the network.

The Post has since reported that a total 35 women have come forward with allegations against Rose, whom one former intern reportedly said "falls toward the worst end of the spectrum" of sexual harassment.

Goldberg said he first reached out to CBS and Rose in February to make them aware of the potential claims.

"Three of them are now suing Rose and CBS News, saying they were subjected to ".repeated, ongoing and unlawful physical and verbal sexual harassment." by Rose; that CBS ".unlawfully retaliated." against one of them and that the company ".failed to investigate the matter".
