HITMAN 2, following an earlier leak on the Warner Bros. website, has been formally announced with a November 13 release date. This game will once again follow the elusive Agent 47 on his journey to track and learn the past of the Shadow Client, improvising kills against his targets along the way. Elsewhere, Warner Bros. and IO referenced "sun-drenched streets to dark and risky rainforests" as possible locations.

IO Interactive is an independent videogame developer based in Copenhagen, Denmark and the creative force behind some of the most talked-about multiplatform videogames to emerge in the last decade. Given its popularity it wouldn't make sense for it to just die out, and earlier this year it was announced that Warner Bros. The first trailer for Hitman 2 has shot its way onto the internet, but it's more subtle than you might think. As always, each of these missions will afford Agent 47 - and players - the chance to utilize multiple paths to victory and the opportunity to complete multiple objectives.
For those wannabe assassins who fancy some physical swag, you'll get everything from the Hitman 2 Collector's Edition bundled into an Agent 47-style guncase, a bullet keyring, rubber duck (yes, really!) and a signature coin.
This time around, HITMAN 2 is evolving the franchise even further with a series' first co-op experience.
