Should we expect to see Amazon try to make more home devices smart? But we can also expect an amplifier, a receiver, a subwoofer, and an in-car device, among others. That could give Amazon a chance to rival high-end voice-activated audio offerings like Google's $400 Home Max, Apple's $350 HomePod, and Samsung's Galaxy Home.
Much like Sonos' partnership with IKEA, the more places Amazon can place its Alexa AI the better it is for the company. It's worth noting that the company launched an SDK to help auto makers integrate the assistant into their vehicle entertainment systems last month, so it may have had this in the works for quite some time.
Amazon plans to release at least 8 new Alexa-powered devices before the end of the year.

It's unclear whether the devices will be branded as part of the Echo line, which includes devices like the original Echo, Echo Dot and Echo Show. Of course, there are rumours that Amazon is also building robots for the home.
Earlier this year, Amazon acquired the smart doorbell maker Ring, which also makes devices that are compatible with Alexa. Amazon could launch a few from the list towards September-end. Named E-tron SUV, the auto needs to be linked to your Amazon account after which you will be able to give voice commands to play music, get weather information, to-do list and nearly everything that you can do with an Echo speaker. All of them will be Alexa-enabled, however, some of them will have Alexa inbuilt, says the report.
