Maurizio Sarri apologised to Manchester United and admitted Chelsea were in the wrong after one of his coaches sparked a furious touchline row with José Mourinho.

Ross Barkley preserved Chelsea's unbeaten record this season with a 96th minute goal after Anthony Martial's brace had given Man United an unexpected second half lead.

The Blues secured a 2-2 draw with a late equaliser at Stamford Bridge - a moment Chelsea coach Marco Ianni celebrated directly in front of the opposition dugout.

There were so many bodies involved that it was hard for Dean to get a good view of what happened. But he did not receive it back. And on Monday, he was expressing a desire for a long stay at England's biggest club. Mourinho had to be restrained from chasing Ianni down the tunnel.

Marco Ianni will be dealt with by Sarri himself, via internal disciplinary action, with the English FA awaiting referee Mike Dean's report before deciding whether they'll take any action against the parties involved.

Young, who received praise for how he limited the influence of Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard, told MUTV: "We have to look at the positives, I think we deserved to win it - we got on top".

Other nominees are Pernille Harder, Lindsey Horan, Fran Kirby, Sam Kerr, Lieke Martens, Megan Rapinoe and Christine Sinclair. "There is a difference between [Gareth] Bale and Cristiano, who has made the difference for the last 10 years".

"The players you saw are the players that are available", Mourinho said. "I want to thank Chelsea for its honesty too".

"What happened was with [Maurizio] Sarri's assistant and Sarri was first to come to me and say he would resolve the problem internally with him".

Speaking to the Times, Barkley explained his decision: "I got them at a young age and sometimes when you are young you do stupid things and not think about it".

Having been publicly critical of the left-back on numerous occasions since arriving at the club, Mourinho has praised Shaw this season, and he said: "Players are different and they react in different ways to the development process and Luke reacted in the best possible way.

But I also made mistakes in football matches and I will make more so after the game when he came to offer his apologies, I accept", added Mourinho. "I've matured and I understand the game more, which is natural growing up, I'm 24 now". I can not come here and tell everything, otherwise with my staff I am not credible.
