It's now unclear how long Neymar will be out of action for after he left the Parc des Princes in tears during the second half of Paris Saint-Germain's 2-0 win over Strasbourg in the Coupe de France. But he covered his eyes - in tears, according to witnesses - as he was forced off to be replaced by Moussa Diaby just after the hour mark.
Neymar's eventful evening continued when he suffered his apparent injury when trying to fend off Zemzemi, who attempted to tackle the Brazilian three times before the referee's whistle went.
Here is how the injury happened in slow motion, with Neymar clearly suffering a nasty twist of his already problematic right foot.
The return leg is March 6.
The club's official statement on their website reads: "Initial examinations have revealed a painful recurrence of his injury to the fifth metatarsal of his right foot".
