Chiefs land Tyrann Mathieu to three-year deal

The people spoke on condition of anonymity Monday because the deal cannot become official until Wednesday, when the new league year begins and free agents can sign contracts.

The Houston Texans offered safety Tyrann Mathieu a long-term deal worth more than $9.5 million annually, sources told Albert Breer of The MMQB.
