Israel's security forces are in the middle of an intensive manhunt for the Palestinian terrorist who killed an Israeli Defense Forces' soldier and an Israeli civilian in the West Bank outside of Ariel on Sunday, and wounded another soldier before fleeing into a Palestinian village, ditching a stolen vehicle and disappearing.

At the second junction, the Palestinian opened fire and wounded another soldier, who was in serious condition, the army said. The terrorist then hijacked a auto and drove to another nearby junction, where he shot a third person before fleeing into a nearby Palestinian village, the military said.

Israeli forces arrested at least seven Palestinians from various areas of the occupied West Bank, in multiple overnight raids across the area, Palestine's news agency (WAFA) reported on Monday.

Ettinger, a resident of the Israeli town of Eli, is survived by his wife and 12 children.

"I am certain that they will apprehend them and we will deal with them to the fullest extent of the law as we have done in all of the recent incidents", Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement. The army confirmed later that the dead Israeli was a soldier, Staff Sgt. Gal Keidan.

In an apparent attempt to portray the Palestinian Authority (PA) as opposing terror attacks on Israelis, a pro-Hamas website called Palestine Now claimed that official PA spokesman Adnan Al-Damiri characterized as "criminal" the attack launched on Sunday in Ariel that claimed the lives of two Israelis.

Rabbi Ettinger served for three years as dean of the Oz V'Emunah hesder yeshiva in the Neve Sha'anan neighborhood in southern Tel Aviv.

"What our clients are attempting to do is shed light on this false narrative of discrimination and to bring the Palestinian experience and Palestinian voice into the picture", she said. Troops went house to house to search for the gunman and the military said it had surveyed the suspect's home for demolition - a longstanding Israeli tactic that it argues is to deter attacks. They note that the properties the settlers wish to list on Airbnb are located in Jewish Israeli settlements that Palestinians are prohibited from entering and that the listings themselves indicate discrimination on the basis of national origin and religion.

The Palestinian then reportedly shot another man, stole his auto, and fled the scene. Gantz accused Regev of using Israeli deaths for "political propaganda".

The filing argues that the Israeli settlers who sued Airbnb have participated in war crimes by aiding in Israel's seizure of land in occupied Palestinian territory, including the specific lands on which the Airbnb properties stand.

The attack, which didn't cause any damage or injury, was attributed to Hamas, despite the Sunni-Islamist fundamentalist organisation denied any involvement.
