Apple TV+ will include original programming, debuting this fall, including The Morning Show, a show starring Jennifer Anniston, Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carell; Little America, a series about the immigrant experience with actor and comedian Kumail Nanjiani; and Little Voice, a series by director J.J. Abrams starring singer Sara Bareilles.
Apple also announced a new subscription-based magazine service, with access to more than 300 USA magazines for $9.99 (£7.58) a month - a United Kingdom launch is set to follow in autumn.
The new Apple TV app will be released in May and customers can subscribe to Apple TV channels ala carte and watch them with no additional apps required. If you've got a newish internet-connected TV from Samsung (which still very much leads the way on that front), you'll have access to Apple TV Channels.
