In context: Fans of explosions, insane weapons, and all-around mayhem have most likely heard of or played the Borderlands series.
Following various hints and leaks over the past few months, developer Gearbox Software has finally released a full-on Borderlands 3 teaser trailer over on its YouTube account. The trailer concludes with the message, "Mayhem is coming". When translated, it says "Count the Sirens" which may give fans the conformation that they need that this trailer is indeed for Borderlands 3. Asking about Borderlands 3 around events such as PAX East, E3, and others has been a frequent occurrence in the past year or so, but Pitchford's said the game will be announced when it's ready.

Over on the official Borderlands Twitter, it has been confirmed that Borderlands will be at the panel tomorrow, with the tweet including a teaser trailer subtitled "Mask of Mayhem".
Gearbox has been steadily teasing its reveals for PAX East, though this is the first substantial look at what's thought to be the next core Borderlands game.
