Michael Cummins, 25, was detained after being found at a nearby location, during which one of the almost two dozens officers from Sumner County's SWAT team shot him, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokesman Josh DeVine says 25-year-old Michael Cummins was transported to a local hospital Saturday night.
Police on Sunday raised the death toll at two homes in rural Tennessee to seven and said they are investigating whether a suspect captured after an hourslong manhunt knew the victims. Authorities have not released the identities of the victims. Officials found another deceased body at a nearby home, the statement said. As of early Sunday afternoon, the injured victim was still recovering at the hospital.

Authorities did not say how they were killed or whether or how the victims were related to each other.
In a creek bed approximately one mile from the first scene, the search plane appeared to locate the individual.
According to TBI when SWAT Team officers encountered the suspect, the situation escalated for reasons still under investigation, and in result, one officer fired his service weapon, striking Cummins. No officers were injured in the arrest effort.
