Thursday's event had all the trappings of a warm up session.

"This isn't practice", he told the crowd.

"This isn't practice. This has nothing to do with Sunday".

He attacked Hillary Clinton, alleging with no evidence that when the Democratic nominee says she is preparing for debates, she is actually "resting".

Popular conservative talk radio show host Howie Carr, a longtime Trump backer, read the questions from the audience of invited Trump supporters.

Audience members participate in the Pledge of Allegiance before the Donald Trump town hall in New Hampshire.

Donald Trump has a sizable lead over Hillary Clinton in Tennessee one month before the presidential election, according to a new Vanderbilt University poll that reaffirms what most prognosticators expected in the politically red state.

Kim Kardashian tied, locked up in bathroom; jewellery worth $11 million stolen
Almost $11 million worth of jewelry was taken from Kim Kardashian's hotel room, while she was locked and tied up in the bathroom. She was also ambushed last week by a serial celebrity accoster who attempted to assault her as she was entering a restaurant.

NH1 News was first to report on social media Wednesday morning that Trump was returning to the Granite State. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a town hall aficionado who has been helping Trump prepare for the coming debate, stood just a couple yards away, carefully observing Trump's performance.

"This has nothing to do with Sunday", as Trump then lobbed a few barbs at his opponent over the debate. "No matter what other issues we also care about, we have to make it publicly clear that Mr. Trump's racial and religious bigotry and treatment of women is morally unacceptable to us as evangelical Christians".

Before the Monica Lewinsky scandal broke in '98, Hillary Clinton's favorability was sitting around 42 percent.

"Everything about that first debate environment was alien to the Trump culture of high energy interaction with people", said Navarro, who has advised Trump on economic issues.

"I strongly supported that bill and it's given more than 20 million people more insurance and it's repealed the most insidious thing that affected millions of families: the pre-existing condition ability of insurance companies not to insure people.but there are problems with it and everybody knows it", he said.

And when asked whether he would fire FBI Director James Comey - who recommended no charges against Clinton after investigating her use of a private email server - Trump demurred, saying simply that he was "very disappointed".

New Hampshire voters pride themselves in posing tough, thoughtful and well-informed questions to their candidates - they believe it is part of their role in testing a candidate's fitness to be commander in chief. After the Republican National Convention, Trump began a dispute that went on for weeks with the Clinton-supporting parents of Army Capt. Humayun Khan, whose actions were credited with saving several lives when the auto bomb that killed him exploded in Afghanistan.

The first question for Trump was why didn't he go after Clinton even more in the first debate.
