The device is running Android 7.0, which is the most up-to-date complete version of the Google-owned operating system. In essence, the feature is created to recognise that an app is being used at a certain time each day - for instance, opening Twitter in the morning - and ensuring the app is loaded in the background in anticipation. Alternatively, Amazon will have the handset for sale from April 20 onwards.
