Activision has also confirmed that Transformers actor Josh Duhamel will make an appearance in the single-player campaign as 34-year-old Technical Sergeant William Pierson. Nonetheless, Sledgehammer Games promised to unveil more information at the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) this coming June. It says online multiplayer will support 2 to 48 players.

According to GameSpot, the aforementioned mode in Call of Duty: WWII will be the "latest iteration" of the titular Zombies-inspired gameplay.

While campaign details are still thin on the ground, we do know a little about CoD WW2's online multiplayer.
