Anderson is no stranger to being smeared over the media regarding the things she's said and done over the years and so knows how to handle it with grace and a poise that belies what she might really be feeling inside.

"I did not say that women deserved being abused or that the pigs like Weinstein were not to be punished".

During an interview Friday on Megyn Kelly's show, NBC's "Megyn Kelly Today", former Playboy Playmate and "Baywatch" star Pamela Anderson offered her thoughts on sexual assault, specifically in Hollywood. "There is even a well known story of suffragettes learning martial arts", she explained.

And she goes on to say "women [must be] aware of certain problems and how to spot them and fight them. It is totally hypocritical to ignore this...[I] will not get coerced into apology".

At the same time, the actress blamed Weinstein's alleged victims for their lack of "common sense". Anderson said she was doing a motion picture with Weinstein where she stated, "I can't do the film if there will be a pooch in the film" which was met with a negative reaction from Weinstein.

Anderson, 50, faced a slew of backlash after her comments Thursday from many women who labeled her a victim blamer. But I know Hollywood is very seductive and people want to be famous, and sometimes you think you're going to be safe... with (another) adult in the room. I only want intimate sexual experiences - where I can be free to give my wildest fantasies to someone who loves me. and never have used sex as a weapon. And yet, she said, "I'm going to be open-minded to Trump turning over a new leaf and perhaps being more like a president".

She recalled that "never in my life have I been talked to like that, and I've had some bad boyfriends".
