Previously, Google introduced audio-only streaming service Google Play Music in 2011 and YouTube Music Key in 2014, which was later morphed into YouTube Red in 2016.

Apart from Play Music, Google also has another paid service called YouTube Red, which apart from offering ad-free music, is also home to original series and movies from some of YouTube's biggest creators. Yes, the app will fetch the data from YouTube and this is how you will be able to stream out your favourite music videos from this new platform by YouTube.

According to the people familiar with the matter, YouTube has already got Warner Music Group - one of the major record labels in the world - on board.

According to some reports, the new YouTube Music service will be called Remix.
