A cell phone video posted on Twitter by user @eyehatgabe shows Buress with his hands behind his back against a patrol auto as two officers question him. Buress, who is handcuffed and leaning against the cops' vehicle can be seen with two cops standing right in front of him as he repeatedly yells, "Am I under arrest?"

A video of Buress's arrest quickly made the rounds on social media, and showed the comedian handcuffed and asking officers why he was being detained. "For what?" he asks "Explain what I'm detained for?"

The police told Burress he was arrested for trespassing but an official at the jail told TMZ that he was arrested for "disorderly intoxication".

"Trespassing", an officer replies, though Buress was not charged with trespassing. Take the handcuffs off of me, I didn't do anything. Soon after, a #FreeHannibalBuress hashtag along with the video started appearing on Twitter. "For what?" Buress yells.
