Egpyt FA president Abdo Rida claims that Real Madrid will approach Liverpool this summer to sign Mohamed Salah after his stunning form this season.

Salah, an Egypt global, has made a sensational start to life at Anfield having only arrived from Roma for £36.9m last summer.

The former Zamalek player was part of the Pharaohs squad that secured Egypt's qualification to the World Cup for the first time since 1990.

"I have been told in confidence that Real Madrid are interested in Salah, but we aren't going to get worked up about it", Cuper said.

That's according to Egyptian FA president Hany Abo Rida.

"There is a real possibility he will play for Real Madrid next season", Rida said, as quoted by Estadio Deportivo.

Liverpool fans will naturally be insecure about players leaving for big clubs in Spain even when they seem happy and are professing their contentedness with their lot on Merseyside.
