Since this is a quick hit of snow, accumulations will be held somewhat in check. So far, we look to be on the cold side of the low, allowing for all snow!
Total snow and sleet accumulations will range from a coating to up to one-half inch.
The storm will move up over New England on Thursday with a high pressure system moving rapidly behind the departing low pressure.

Onton said daytime temperatures for today are expected to remain "well below freezing", and daytime wind chills will make it feel like anything from 8 degrees to minus 2. Southwest wind around 6 miles per hour. Tuesday and Wednesday brings our next best shot at snow chances. "The precipitation may change back to snow before tapering off around midnight". Highs will be only slightly milder, in the upper 20s. The town with the greatest chance of surpassing 4 inches was Torrington, with a 48 percent chance.
