The track of the storm will bring the heaviest snow amounts to northern IL, with amounts rapidly decreasing as it moves north. Now the higher amounts appear that they will fall south of Interstate 90.

Snow accumulation totals are expected from 1 to 3 inches in Nebraska, up to 8 inches in Iowa, and up to a foot in Illinois, Indiana and MI. Snow will continue through the day, making it a challenge to keep roads and highways clear.

There is a Winter Storm Warning for Grant, Lafayette, Green, Rock and Jefferson counties for Thursday night and Friday, as those areas will see the highest snowfall amounts as it stands now.
