A day after Daniels gave her first extended television interview to CBS's "60 Minutes" about her alleged tryst with a married Trump, Pittsburgh gentlemen's club Blush said she'll be appearing there on two dates in May.
Meanwhile, the White House declined to indicate whether Trump watched the adult film star's highly anticipated 60 Minutes interview Sunday night, during which she discussed her alleged affair she had the president in 2006.
On Monday, Cohen's attorney, Brent H. Blakely, denied that Cohen had anything to do with the threat.
He also said the White House did not believe she was threatened into silence on the issue.
"I'd like to remind people there's a minor child who's [sic] name should be kept out of news stories when at all possible", she wrote. Although she spoke to the tabloid magazine in 2011, In Touch did not publish that interview until this January.
Toobin said key questions would include whether Cohen actually used his own money to pay Daniels and whether Trump knew about it.
The legal ground for breaking the non-disclosure agreement by Daniels lawyer is that Trump never signed it.

"I was in a parking lot", Daniels said, "going to a fitness class with my infant daughter ... and a guy walked up on me and said to me, 'Leave Trump alone".
But Daniels never went to the police, saying that she was scared of the repercussions.
"Yes, I'm getting more job offers now, but tell me one person who would turn down a job offer making more than they've been making, doing the same thing that they've always done?" she told Anderson Cooper.
Daniels also detailed her efforts to talk about the affair publicly.
Daniels said that before they had sex Trump had broached the idea of her being a contestant on "The Apprentice", and she likened it to a "business opportunity".
"Because they made it sound like I had no choice", Daniels said. Barron, who campaigned with his father a few times during the 2016 election, is named for one of Trump's pseudonyms, John Barron, an alter-ego once quoted in the New York Times.
The letter also demanded "that you immediately retract and apologize to Mr. Cohen through the national media for your defamatory statements on '60 Minutes, ' and make clear that you have no facts or evidence whatsoever to support your allegations that my client had anything whatsoever to do with this alleged thug".
"It was reasonably understood Mr. Cohen meant to convey that Ms. (Stephanie) Clifford is a liar", the complaint reads, referencing Daniels' real name.
However, Avenatti told "60 Minutes" he has documents showing Cohen using his Trump Organization email address in setting up the payment and that the nondisclosure agreement was sent by FedEx to Cohen at his Trump Organization office in Trump Tower. When the second statement was released, a representative for Daniels, Gina Rodriguez, told The Washington Post that it was signed in front of her and Keith Davidson, Daniels's then-attorney.
