Reportedly, co-creators Tina Fey and Robert Carlock would share the writing duties for any feature. The show follows Kimmy Schmidt as she moves to NY after she is rescued from a doomsday cult, where she was being held captive underground by a mad preacher played by Jon Hamm. Neither Netflix nor anyone involved in the series has confirmed the possibility of an "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" movie, but fans of the series may want to keep their eyes peeled for any official announcement to be made at some point in the coming months, should the project be greenlit. The publication notes that Kimmy may live on, with talks of a doing a movie to officially wrap up the series.
This revelation follows news that the fourth and final season will be split in two.
