Aladdin is among a series of live-action remakes Disney has been working on. In addition to classic songs from the first film, the live-action movie features new songs co-written by Menken and Pasek & Paul.

The mouse house has released a very short teaser of their upcoming remake of "Aladdin".

The first look gives us a glimpse at the unbelievable live-action set.

Smith also shared the official poster on Instagram this week with the caption, "LEMME OUT!"

Walt Disney Studios took to Twitter sharing the poster after Smith, saying to check out the first look of the live-action remake on Thursday, hinting at a trailer debut or first official set photos. As Aladdin and Jasmine fall in love, they must also face the evil Jafar, who plans to become Sultan by marrying Jasmine.

For the animated version, the voice cast included Robin Williams, Scott Weinger, Linda Larkin, Jonathan Freeman, Gilbert Gottfried, Jim Cummings, and more.

Aladdin rides his magic carpet into cinemas May 24, 2019 and TBH we can't wait. Fans will be relieved to know animal sidekicks Abu, Iago and Rajah are expected to be in the movie.

Aladdin, directed by Snatch and Sherlock Holmes filmmaker Guy Ritchie, adapts an animated film about a young man who lives on the street, and who comes into possession of a lamp that, when rubbed, unleashes a genie who's been imprisoned there for thousands of years.
