TMZ's sources claim the breakup went down this weekend, and both Ari and Pete agreed that, "it simply was not the right time for their relationship to take off".

"It was way too much too soon".

TMZ reported that Grande's engagement ring cost about $100,000. Neither Grande, 25, nor Davidson, 24, have commented, but he deleted his Instagram account Sunday night.

A heartbroken Ariana Grande wants to be left alone to find herself after her bombshell split from Pete Davidson.

The news of the couple's split comes after a hard period for Grande following the sudden death of her former boyfriend, the rapper Mac Miller in September. Following their surprise engagement, they moved into a $16 million apartment in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood and adopted a pet pig. And now, a source close to People's magazine has said that they have indeed broke up and it is not shocking to anyone.

Amidst the reactions and speculation on the relationship, a recent SNL clip of Davidson has been making the rounds.
