Mr Moreno today renewed his attack, telling the Ecuadorian Radio Broadcasters' Association that Mr Assange has "repeatedly violated" his terms of asylum. "He can not intervene in the politics of other countries, or worse, those of friendly countries".
"It is not that he can not speak and express himself freely, but he can not lie, nor much less hack private accounts or phones", Moreno said.
Ecuador reportedly secured one billion dollars in loans as part of an agreement with the U.S.to resolve matters with the hacker.
Although the Swedish investigation was dropped past year, Assange still faced charges in Britain for jumping bail.
