With an opening slot that marks the live debut of Taylor Swift collab "ME!", the first-ever BBMAs performance from Panic!

After dropping the "ME!" music video - where Swift accepts Benjamin Button from Urie in the place of an engagement ring - Swift took to Instagram to introduce her new feline to the world. He's a tiny doe-eyed kitten named Benjamin Button, he loves tummy rubs and purring, and he has stolen what little remains of the internet's collective heart.

"He was just a cute kitten who didn't have a home", she told PEOPLE, adding that he was part of a program that "tries to get cute kittens adopted by putting them in commercials and stuff".

In life, Taylor Swift has a new man, but this time it is a cat. At the Disco's Brendon Urie, who's featured on "Me!"

"There have been times where I needed to take years off because I just felt exhausted, or I felt like, really low or really bad", she mused. And I love my cats so much that when a role came up in a movie called "Cats", I just thought like I've gotta do this.

Here's hoping the upcoming seventh album isn't all sunshine and lollipops though. On April 26, the day she dropped "Me!", Swift made an unannounced appearance at a Nashville butterfly mural that only superfans had suspected was her genius.
